Thousands of pro-Coordination Framework protesters clashed with security forces in Baghdad, on Monday, while trying to enter  Green Zone.

The protesters were seen chanting and removing the barbed wire set up around the Green Zone, housing Iraq's now-occupied Parliament attempting to storm the fortifications near the suspension bridge in central Baghdad.

The supporters of Coordination Framework protested against those of the Sadrist Movement after the its protesters stormed and occupied the Iraqi Parliament.

On Saturday, supporters of the Sadrist Movement stormed the Iraqi Parliament and have been staging a sit-in protest ever since, against the formation of a government by their rivals.
