UGANDA : Police investigators from Patongo Central Police Station in Agago locale are examining a homicide by shooting of Ketty Atto Lawoko, 29, an electoral supervisor.

Lawoko, who has been an occupant of Labora East town, Lira-Kato sub-region in Agago locale and a representative of the Electoral Commission, was gunned down on June 23, 2022, at 9:00pm.

Aswa river region Police representative David Ongom Mudong said the case was accounted for by James Lawoko, 49, an educator and an inhabitant of Labora as well. James is the dad of Atto.

Mudong said starter report shows that while James Lawoko and his better half were resting in their grass-covered house, they heard someone hitting their entryway hard and not long from then, a discharge followed.

Mudong said Atto, who was in another house, came out imagining that her folks were being scorched in their home.
