Opposition MPs Return to Plenary, End Boycott

The Leader of Opposition, Mathias Mpuuga has demanded that the government provides an explanation of the whereabouts of up to 19 people who went missing during and post elections. He says that he raised the matter in his repose to the State of Nation Address 2021.

The Deputy Speaker has directed that the Government presents a statement in response to the whereabouts of the 19 people as raised by the LoP. She also called for a meeting in the course of the week with both the government and the opposition in her office.
